Mitsubishi have just released a new special edition to the Colt range. The new Colt Juro, with luxuries such as leather upholstery and a portable Garmin satellite navigation system which includes Bluetooth hands-free technology. The prices is a steal at just £10,499 for the Colt Juro 3 door manual.
Available in both 3 and 5 doors bodies with the standard 1.3 petrol engine, the Juro is avialable in manual, automatic and manual ClearTec versions. Thanks to the package of technologies on the ClearTec models fuel efficiency can be improved by nearly 10 mpg and reduces CO2 emissions by 24%.
Auto Stop & Go, one of such technologies enables the engine to stop automatically when the car comes to a stand still, the gearshift is in neutral and the driver's foot is off the clutch pedal. The engine restarts instantly when the driver presses the clutch pedal again to engage a gear.
The 6-speed automated manual transmission has two modes, clutchless sequential manual shifting in which pushing the gearshift lever changes the gear or the fully automatic mode, ideal for more relaxed driving around town. Unlike a traditional automatic, the Allshift system returns even greater fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions than the standard 5-speed manual gearbox.
